Ruth Schumacher of Hosmer spoke to Carol Lacher's fifth grade class in Ipswich. Ruth spoke about the dirty thirties which the students had studied in science class.
Ruth turned 90 last October and is the great-great-aunt of Jacob Jung who is in the fifth grade class.
Ruth taught school for many years and taught fifth grade as well.
