PIONEER DRUGGEST
SELLS STORE HERE
Ben J. Jones Pioneer Druggist of Ipswich sells to Herb Crissman.
A deal was completed the past week whereby Ben Jones disposed of his drug store to Herbert Crissman and it is with deep regret that the people of Ipswich hear that the Jones are quitting the business.
Dr. J. D Jones, then a physician in Edmunds County, forty-two years ago. The first store was started by J. D. Jones, then a physician in Ipswich; later, a little over thirty years ago, Ben F. Jones came here and took charge of the store and has been in business here ever since.
The new proprietor, Herbert Crissman, started with Mr. Jones when about 12 years of age, and has been with him continuously for over twenty years with the exception of the time he served in the army. The new proprietor has scores of friends who are glad to see him locate here and we bespeak success for him.
Mr. Crissman is installing new fixtures to replace the ones damaged by fire last fall and remodeling the entire store, which will add very much to the appearance of the place.
Mr. Jones will remain at the store for the summer straightening out his business affairs and later in company with his better half, Mrs. Jones, will take a well earned trip and see something of the country, but they will always make Ipswich their home.
