District 23 Representatives and County Commissioner elected

Only 29.21% of Edmunds County registered voters turned out to vote for the 2020 Primary Election.

The turnout for county Republicans, who had several issues to vote on.

In the Edmunds County Commission District 4, the Roscoe and Hosmer area, Chad Preszler was elected over incumbent Dennis Hoyle.

Republicans voted for two of four candidates for State Representative in District 23. The county winners were Spencer Gosch and Charlie Hoffman. Those results mirrored the results throughout District 23. Gosch and Hoffman have no competition in the November general election.

Bryan Breitling won the Republican primary for District 23 Senator. He will face Libertarian CJ Abernathey in the general election in November.

County Republicans favored the incumbents in the statewide races, voting for Sen. Mike Rounds and Rep. Dusty Johnson.

Edmunds County Democrats had only one contest. They favored Joseph Biden over Bernie Sanders.

Statewide, 154,328 voters turned out on June 2 to cast ballots. There are 546,899 registered voters in the state, for a 28.22% turnout.
