The Edmunds County Conservation District has a youth garden in Ipswich.
District Manager Meshele Townsend said the garden is usually a project of youth, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic she is doing the work. "I do so miss the kids," she said.
As things are harvested Townsend will give it away. She asks that people call her, 426-6701, and she can set up times to distribution.
The produce will include potatoes, tomatoes, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, sweet onions, and then pumpkins in the fall and apples.
