BEWARE OF PEDDLERS

Picture peddlers are canvassing the county, selling portraits to be enlarged from a photograph for $7.50, claiming the portrait is worth $30. The St. Paul Farmer warns everybody to beware of them, and under no circumstances to sign any order for these portraits. The peddlers make a specialty of canvassing farmer’s wives during the absence of the husband. The sheriff of this county will be glad to be informed of their whereabouts.
