A pair of high school football once-beatens did battle last Friday in Selby on a beautiful evening for football. And the Herreid/Selby Wolverines topped the Ipswich/Edmunds Central Tigers by a 34-16 verdict. That improved the hosts' season record to 6-1, while the Tigers dropped to 5-2.
Trailing 20-8 at the halftime break, Ipswich/Edmunds Central methodically put together a scoring drive that had started on their own 27.
