ANNUAL PHEASANT DINNER
The Berean class of the Baptist church held their annual pheasant dinner last Friday evening. Forty-five were present.
The husbands of the members held a hunt on Thursday and supplied the pheasants. The ladies prepared the birds for serving.
The tables were tastefully decorated with autumn leaves. The dinner was served by Leota and Sylvia Reese, Agnes Stevens and Ruby Countryman.
During the dinner hour, E. E. Hubbard, M. Plin Beebe, Paul Cochran and Ward Leech entertained with anecdotes and personal experience stories.
After dinner, the tables were cleared away and games were enjoyed.
