Ann Thomsen Day fundraiser in Bowdle on May 1

Ann Thomsen's friends and family have set a date of May 1 full of events for her.

Ann was diagnosed with a brain tumor in late February. Since then she has undergone surgery at the Mayo Clinic and starts treatments in April.

Stu and Ann have been pillars of the Bowdle and surrounding communities for many years. Show her a lot of support and take in these events. Don't forget to pack your running shoes, golf clubs and your shot gun.

The day's activities include:

• 10 a.m. Fun Run, Bowdle School 285-6272; Registration at 9:15 a.m.
