An Ipswich High School cast will present the play Nothing but the Truth on Friday, April 23 at 7 p.m. Watch the performance in the School Theatre in-person or as a livestreamed show. The livestream link will be available on the school website and Facebook page on Friday.
The play is an all-ages comedy mystery set on a passenger boat headed for London around the time of the sinking of the Titanic. David, played by Sam Grabowska, is traveling with his sister Mary played by Bridget Fuhrmann, when they meet Kate played by Quincy Olivier. David tries to impress Kate by pretending to be a spy. Then, David discovers a true sabotage plot aboard the ship. There are hilarious misleading clues, love triangles, and mistaken identities.
The cast also includes Pete played by Gavin Wollman, Steward played by Lilly Judkins, Mrs. Elias played by Kamryn Boettcher, Mr. Elias played by Kadyn Weisser, Paulette played by Jersey Peschong, Captain played by Emily Knoll, and Waiter played by Evan Onken.
Admission is free and open, with masks recommended.
The play was written by Philip J. Anderson and is produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service Denver, Colorado.
