CATTLE IN THE SUNSHINE STATE
The above picture shows a car load of good streers in front of the Bank of Ipswich, Edmunds County, in the northern part of South Dakota.
This country is noted for the great improvement in the grade of its cattle during the past five years, due largely to the work of the Farm Bureau and County Agent. South Dakota with its native grasses which cure on the ground can support many more people and the price of the land is so reasonable that citizens of other states are moving in and taking advantage of the present conditions. A family willing to milk cows and raise hogs can not help succeeding in this great State.
