The Edmunds County 4-H Achievement Days are scheduled for August 4-6 . This year’s theme is “4-H Through the Decades.”
The three days will begin with the Dog Show on Wednesday, August 2 starting at 8 a.m. at the 4-H Building. This will be followed by the Cat Show. The Horse Show and Fun Day will be that evening at 4 p.m. at the Trail Days Arena.
Thursday will start off with the Poultry Show followed by the Rabbit Show. Members will also enter and get their static exhibits judged. There will be a Parade of Animals to the nursing home in the afternoon. The evening will end with the pet show and project runway/ decades style show followed by the crowning of the 2021 Achievement Days Royalty.
Friday will be the livestock show and judging starting at 8:30 a.m. There will be a Junior Leader led games and a Soil Health demonstration in the afternoon.
Friday evening will be the Beef BBQ starting at 5:30 p.m. followed by the pre 4-H Livestock show. The evening will conclude with the Premium Sale starting at 7:30 p.m.
