“4-H Through the Decades” is the slogan for the 2021 Edmunds County 4-H Achievement Days on August 4 - 6. Mark your calendars and plan on stopping by to see the accomplishment of our youth. Activities take place at the 4-H Grounds in Ipswich.
Wednesday morning starts off the three days with the Dog Show starting at 8 a.m. followed by the Cat Show. The Horse Fun Day at the Trail Days Complex starting at 4 p.m. will finish off the day.
Thursday kicks off with the poultry show at 8:30 a.m. followed by the Rabbit Show. The judging of static projects will start off the afternoon followed by a parade of animals to the Nursing Home at 4 p.m.
The day will conclude with the evening program which includes the crowning of the 2021 Royalty, pre 4-H Pet Show, Project Runway, and a decades Fashion Show.
The Livestock Show is the main event for Friday. This will begin at 8:30 a.m. There will be Junior Leader games and a Soil Health Demonstration in the afternoon.
The three days will finish up with the Beef BBQ starting at 5:30 p.m. and Livestock Premium Sale.
Concessions will be available all three days. Hope to see you there supporting the Edmunds County 4-H Program!
