Nancy Ertz Couhig

Nancy Ertz Couhig of Edmonds, Wash. passed away January 18, 2022.

Nancy Ertz was born on Feb. 3, 1947, the daughter of Katherine and Bert Ertz. She graduated from Ipswich High School in 1965. She graduated from South Dakota State University and got a Masters degree from Kansas State.

She was a registered dietician and taught at Miami University of Ohio, then at University of Washington, finally at Shoreline Community College. She worked for the King County Health Department (Seattle, Wash.) as a dietician.

She married Jim Couhig. They had one son, Tuck.

She is survived by her husband and son.
