A Breakfast Benefit for Elaina Morales is planned on Sunday, Feb. 13 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Holy Cross Parish Hall in Ipswich.
The Knights of Columbus are planning a Bingo Benefit beginning at 11 a.m. in the Grace Center with fun and prizes for all ages.
After tests with specialists in Aberdeen and Sioux Falls, Elaina was diagnosed with Gastroparesis, a disorder that slows or stops the movement of food from your stomach to your small intestine.
Elaina has been taking specialized treatments and medicine. She received a NJ feeding tube before Christmas 2021 and has been restricted to a clear liquid diet.
Although she has experienced complications, Elaina is healing and receiving the nourishment that will help her grow strong.
Elaina is the daughter of McKensie and Jarret Morales of Ipswich.
The Breakfast and Bingo Benefit will raise funds for Elaina's medical expenses.
Donations can also be sent to Holy Cross Catholic Church, PO Box 67, Ipswich, SD 57451. Make checks payable to "Knights of Columbus - Elaina's Benefit."
