Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Leola will celebrate its completed church restoration on Sunday, August 14 at 11 a.m. with a Grand Opening Mass.
The Mass will be a celebration of the restoration project followed by a potluck meal.

Governor Kristi Noem has declared August 14 as "Our Lady of Perpetual Help Day in the State of South Dakota" to celebrate the work on this 106 year old house of worship in McPherson County.
Our Lady of Perpetural Help Catholic Church is part of the Holy Cross Parish with Holy Cross Church in Ipswich and St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Roscoe. The current pastor is Father Timothy Cone.
