1.The current average high temp. for September is 72°.

2. The current average low temps. for September is 46°

3. There have been only four 100 or plus degree day time temps. recorded in September, two in 1976 & one each in 1978 and 1983 with the highest of 105° on Sept. 2, 1983.

4.There have been only 94 temps. in the 90s recorded with the most in 2003 with 11.

5. The lowest single night temp. in September was 20° recorded on the 22nd of 1983 and 19th of 1991.

6. The highest average high for September was 80° in 1978. Very warm for the first eleven days with an average high of 94°.

7. The lowest average high for September was 64° in 1985. No days in the 90s and only 3 in the 80s.

8. The lowest average low for September was 41° in 1983. Sixteen night time readings in the 20s & 30s with the lowest on the 22nd of 20°.

9. Only nine killing frosts in September recorded. None since 2012.

0. 1983 has the record for the highest day time temp. and lowest night time temp. (105° and 20°)
