The 2022 Miss Ipswich Snow Queen Tasia Rivera (and also Miss Congenialty), Junior Miss Ipswich Kathryn Kilber, junior first runner up Reaghan Bowers, junior Miss Congeniality Sommer DeRaad, Prince Jacob Volk and Princess Rayna Pietz
The Ipswich 2023 Snow Queen Festival will be held Saturday, Nov. 12 in the Ipswich School Theatre at 7 p.m.
Two IHS seniors will be vying the 2023 Miss Ipswich Snow Queen crown. Candidates are Sami Feldman and Jailey Hutson.
Ten freshmen are candidates for the Junior Miss Ipswich Snow Queen crown: Natalie Crissman, Madisyn Gellhaus, Marley Guthmiller, Gracyn Kadlec, Josie Knutson, Praise Lange, Alexia Marshall, Charli Rawden, LaVayan Russell, and Darby Yost.
2023 Miss Ipswich and Junior Miss Ipswich will compete in the South Dakota Snow Queen Festival in January.
There will also be a Talent Competition. The winners in the senior and junior divisions could also compete at the South Dakota event in January.
The Ipswich first graders will again be princesses and princes on Saturday night.
The Ipswich Snow Queen is sponsored by the Ipswich Commercial Club. The theme is "Winter Wonderland."
The admission fee helps fund the scholarship given to the Senior Snow Queen and the fees to send the local winners to the State Festival.
