Make plans to visit the new Edmunds County Conservation District (ECCD) office for their open house on November 29, 30, and December 1.
ECCD has built a new office space next to the tree shed located at 20 4th Street South, moving from their previous location in the USDA-NRCS building.
District Manager, Meshele Townsend, invites the public to visit from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. those days to tour the office, enjoy some refreshments, and visit about the conservation district services. To better accommodate the public, the open house will be extended until 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 1.
Partners of the Conservation District, including NRCS, Ducks Unlimited, Game, Fish & Parks, and Pheasants Forever, will have representatives in attendance during the open house to answer questions and meet producers. If you are interested in meeting with a specific partner, call the office at (605) 426-6994 to check when they will be available.
The new office allows Townsend to better serve the community with a store front next to the tree shed. The event is open to the public to learn more about the Conservation District and visit their new location.
