The Ipswich boys basketball team made a pair of road trips into eastern S.D. and returned with two more wins.
They indeed defeated Wilmot 56-33 on Friday and topped Webster there 59-50 on Saturday. In that outing the hosts would hang around and make a game of it, trailing 17-16 at the first break and Ipswich would also narrowly lead 29-27 at intermission. But the Tigers would outscore their hosts for a more comfortable 46-37 edge with a quarter to play. And that margin would end up the same at the final buzzer.
