The Northville Merchants, an amateur baseball team, played in the state tournament on Friday, August 4th in Mitchell. They were beat out by the Menno Mad Frogs with a score of 8-3, ending their season with a record of 4 and 5.
The team punched their ticket last week, in region action, by beating the Miller Outlaws with a score of 4-3.
The team is made up of men ranging in age from 17 to 40. Several have local ties.
