Edmunds Central School election Tuesday, Nov. 7

An Edmunds Central School District election is planned on November 7 in all voting precincts.

The voters are asked to decide if the School District should dissolve the current district system and make each seat an "at-large" seat for which anyone living in the district would be eligible.

Currently each board seat corresponds to one of five different geographical voting districts.

A “Yes” vote would dissolve the current district system. A "No" vote would leave things as they currently are.

The election polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The polling places in each precinct are at the Roscoe Fire Hall and Hosmer Fire Hall.

If the polls cannot be opened because of bad weather, the election may be postponed one week.
