Roscoe plans Christmas fun

Roscoe is planning Christmas cheer and activities this coming weekend.

Local businesses are planning open houses on Thursday and Friday, December 14-15. Various times and events are scheduled, as the businesses welcome you in for some holiday cheer.

Visit Santa and enjoy cookies and cocoa in the Edmunds Central School on Saturday, Dec. 16 from 3 to 4 p.m. The EC P.A.C. will have a photo backdrop, coloring sheets, games and Christmas activities.

The Roscoe Community Club is joining with the Edmunds Central PAC in Christmas Caroling in Roscoe on Saturday, December 16.

Everyone interested in joining the caroling fun may meet the community club at the school at 4 p.m. Trailers will be ready to transport carolers around town singing to many and sharing our Christmas cheer. No one is too young or old to join them! Sing out loud, sing out long, let the Christmas joy abound! Bring warm winter clothes, blankets, and your joyous voices.

Sunday evening, December 17 the Roscoe Community Club will be hosting a Lighted Christmas Parade, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The parade will start at the city park, and wind through the town. It is suggested for you to park along the sides of Broadway street to watch from your vehicles, or brave the weather anywhere in town. See the attached map to follow the route. If you are not able to get out of your home, you should be able to watch from your windows.

If you would like to join in the parade, please contact Cindy at 605-237-9744 to register your entry.
