Ipswich City Council appointment made

The Ipswich City Council appointed a council member during their April 22 meeting.

They accepted the resignation of Chris Gillick effective May 7, 2024. The Council voted to approve Mayor LeRoy Kilber’s appointment of Kayla Hartwell to fill the vacancy in Ward I.

The Council also voted to accept the resignation of Mayor Kilber effective May 6, 2024.
