Richland Church activities planned

Graduates honored

The Richland Church will be honoring the graduates from several area high schools during their morning worship service this Sunday, May 5.

This year seven high school graduates will be honored.

Pastor Stephen Duncan will be speaking during the morning worship service at 10:45 a.m. A special prayer time will be held at the end of the service. Each graduate will also receive a gift from the congregation. Gift bags will also be available for each graduate.

CLUBHOUSE awards

The Richland Church will be hosting their annual CLUBHOUSE Awards Night on Wednesday, May 8 at 7 p.m. This year-end celebration will take place in the Sanctuary.

Each CLUBHOUSE student will receive a certificate celebrating the activities and lessons that they have been a part of throughout this past year. Students will also be sharing some of what they have learned with the congregation.

Special Reading awards and Scripture Memory awards will be given as well.

The community is invited to attend. A special dessert will be served following the ceremony.

The Richland CLUBHOUSE program is for all students age three through sixth grade. They meet every Wednesday evening throughout the school year.

The Richland Church is located 8 miles south of Ipswich and 10 miles east on the Warner Road.
