The North Central track and field boys and girls team earned championships at the YTC Meet on April 25 at Eureka.
Timothy Rucker was first in the 110m Hurdles at 21.69 and 300m Hurdles in 49.83. He also was the champ in the Triple Jump, 38-5.5 and High Jump at 5-6. Kobe Wherry earned two first place wins: Javelin 119-8 and Pole Vault 10-0. Raynor Sprague was first in the 400 Meters at 54.40.
The boys 4x800 Relay was first at 9:46.34. Team members were Aiden Goings, Kobe Wherry, Avery Wells and Drew Arbach.
The girls team also earned first place medals. The 4x100 Relay earned a first place win at 55:69. Team members were Lindsey Hoerner, Lindsey Geier, Ava Gonska and Amree Vander Vorst.
Individual champs included Kaiden Bulgin, 16.78 in the 100m Hurdles. Amree Vander Vorst had a first place throw in the Javelin, 91’1. Peyton Schnable won the Pole Vault, 8’4. Lindsey Geier was first in the Triple Jump, 33-10.
