Fiddlin' Around

Monday a.m. I was outside checking our rain gauges. Bad idea! Why? I heard a loud clap of thunder and instantaneously got soaked in the matter of a seconds. Yes, I literally got drenched. That’s right!

I’m glad I had recently purchased a pair of air rubber shoes. I had been wearing them the day before because they provided to be ideal for mowing grass that was several inches too high. Not just one or two! So it was nice to finally get that first mowing done by Tena and me.

Also it wouldn’t be a bad idea to check your sump pumps. They need to be outside now anyway.

And in our case that Monday downpour consisted mostly of rain and NOT hail stones. That wouldn’t feel too great to get conked on your noggin’, possibly knocking some sense into your head.
