Thunder boys and girls third at LRC Meet

The North Central track and field team competed in a windy Lake Region Conference in Ipswich on Tuesday, May 7.

The North Central boys and girls each earned third place wins. The Warner girls won the LRC meet and the Ipswich boys were first in their division.

Raynor Sprague was first in the 400 Meters with a 53.20 clocking, right before Gavin Nickelson of Frederick Area at 53.22.

Gabe Johnson delivered a win for NC in the 3200 Meters at 10:51.

North Central's 4x800 Relay team broke the tape for first place at 9:18.25. Team members were Aiden Goings, Gabe Johnson, Avery Wells and Anthony Miller.

Kaidence Bulgin was the champion in the girls 100m Hurdles at 16.86. She was one of the four runners to claim first place in the 4x200 Relay. Other runners were Lindsey Hoerner, Lindsey Geier, and Amree Vander Vorst.

Geier also won the Triple Jump with a 34-03.75 leap.
