"Adventure begins at your library" summer program

The Ipswich Public Library is planning their summer reading program, “Adventure Begins at your Library.”

The program is designed for ages 3-12 and is FREE. ALL Programs will start at 3 p.m. and last 45 to 60 minutes.

The library is challenging ALL patrons, baby thru grandparents, to read 500 books from June 2 to July 17. They will count all books checked out during the seven weeks and fill out the chart on the door of the library. Teens and adults just need to ask what their summer reading challenge is.

The Calendar of Events for the program are:

• June 5, 2024, 3 p.m. Clifford the Big Red Dog

• June 5-26, 2024, Community Scavenger Hunt—OPEN TO ALL! Pick up a scavenger hunt form and find pages of a book around the community. You have the month to find the pages, return the form and receive a prize.

• June 12, 2024, 3 p.m. Adventure Bag

• June 19, 2024, 3 p.m. What to Pack

• June 26, 2024, 3 p.m. Library Olympics

• July 10, 2024, 3 p.m. Language Adventure

• July 17, 2024, 3 p.m. Smokey the Bear 80th Birthday Party
