Hosmer landmark torn down

The building that was used as Hosmer City Hall for many years was torn down last weekend.

The building was built in 1930. Bonds were sold for $3,500 to finance part of the new hall. It was used for city meetings, fire department meetings and even wedding receptions and church suppers. Repairs were done in the 1960's to the building.

Before it was completely demolished the jail housed in the city hall was moved to a new location.
