Busy weekend planned for Trail Days

Trail Days 2024 will feature Chancey Williams in concert on Saturday, June 15 at 9 p.m. at the Trail Days arena.

Saddle Broncs and Bull Riding will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday.

The festivities will begin on Friday, June 14. The Split Rock Country Club golf tournament begins at 12 p.m. The Wily Wizards Amazing Race will have teams heading out at 4:30 p.m. to local businesses.

DJ & the Atomics will perform in concert at 9 p.m. Friday.

Saturday

The Ipswich Flower & Garden Club will have a Pie Social beginning at 9 a.m. at Grandma's Ceramics on Main Street.

The parade will line-up at 10 a.m. south of the school. The parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the theme "Happy Holidays." Entries are still welcome. Register online at http://www.IpswichTrailDays.com or call Ashley Pitz at 605-216-9064.

The parade route continues south of the school on Fifth Street turning on Alma Ave. to Main Street. They will head north to 4th Ave. turning west until Fifth St. ending at the school.

An afternoon of activities are planned after the parade at the arena. Activities will include a car show, kiddie train, dunk tank, and free inflatables. A Corn Hole Tournament will begin at 1:30 p.m.

Sherwin Linton will be performing in concert at 12:30, 1:45 and 3 p.m.

Broncs and Bulls with Calcutta will begin at 4 p.m. There is no charge.

Rowan Grace, who performed on "The Voice," will be the opening act for Chancey Williams concert at 7:30 p.m.

Greg Hanson & the Backroads will perform at the After-Party Concert.

Sunday

Plan on attending Cowboy Church on June 16 at 9:30 a.m. at the Trail Days Arena, with Pastor Dave Morrison. Sit in your car or bring your own chair for the service.

The Baptist Church is providing doughnuts and inviting you to bring your own beverage.
