The 2024 Edmunds County 4-H Achievement Days scheduled is planned on new days this year — Sunday, August 4 through Tuesday, August 6. This year’s theme is “You Won’t get BOARD in 4-H!
The three days will begin on Sunday, August 4 with the Cat Show starting at 2 p.m. in the 4-H Building. This will be followed by the Open Horse Show and Fun Day at 4 p.m. at the Trail Days Arena.
Monday will start off with the Dog Show at 8 a.m. The Rabbit Show followed by the Poultry Show will start at 8:30 a.m. Members will also enter and get their static exhibits judged. The afternoon will end with the Beef BBQ starting at 5 p.m. This will be followed by the pet show, the crowning of Achievement Day Royalty and project runway at 7 p.m.
Tuesday will be the livestock show and judging starting at 8 a.m. The livestock show will end with the bottle buck calf entries followed by the pre 4-H Livestock Show.
The three days will conclude with the Bottle Bucket Calf awards, announcing of the Secret Alumni and winner of the Herdsmanship Award and the Premium Sale starting at 3 p.m.
