South Dakota Senator John Thune stopped in Edmunds and McPherson County communities Friday, July 19.
He visited with people in the Sylte office in Ipswich at 10:30 a.m. Later in the day he stopped in Hosmer and Roscoe.
Sen. Thune said he likes to hear about what is going on and the needs of area residents.
In Ipswich he heard from FEM Electric staff, Edmunds Co. Sheriff and Ipswich city and school officials.
