Hosmer and Vitalant will be sponsoring a Blood Drive on Tuesday, August 6 from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the Hosmer Fire Hall.

Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. This could be a little girl in the ICU or a mother with Stage 3 leukemia. The entire process is very safe and very fast, and you will feel amazing knowing you potentially saved up to three people.

Recommendations
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Weigh at least 110 pounds
• Be in good general health
• Bring your ID
• Eat within two hours ahead of your donation
• Drink plenty of non-alcoholic liquids
• Wait eight weeks between whole blood donations
