The 2024 Edmunds County 4-H Achievement Days, “You Won’t Get BOARD in 4-H,” will kick off on Sunday, August 4 with the Cat Show. The show will start at 2 p.m. at the 4-H Building in Ipswich.
Choosing of the Grand Champion Cat as well as Champion Cat Showman will take place.
The Dog Show will start off the second day, Monday, August 5, starting at 8 a.m. at the 4-H Building.
Dogs and their owners have been practicing since May and will show their skills in obedience, showmanship, agility, and rally. Members are coached by Hannah Holsing. Participants are also able to attend one of the State Shows.
The Rabbit Show will also be on Monday, August 5 starting at 8:30 a.m. by the livestock complex. The Poultry Show will follow. Once again, the choosing of the Grand Champions and Champion Showmen will take place.
The public is welcome to attend all shows while enjoying a treat from the concession stand.
