One new teacher for EC School

The Edmunds Central School year began Monday, Aug. 19.

Edmunds Central has one new teacher this year - music teacher Janet Labesky.

Teaching Position: K-8 Music; Para

Family and Background: Grew up in Aberdeen. I have two sisters in the area, one brother in Sioux Falls and one brother in California. I attended NSU and the University of Oregon.

Teaching Experience: This is my 43rd year teaching. I've taught in Montana, Nevada, Oregon and New Mexico.

This year I'm looking forward to: My first winter back in SoDak in 40 years. Having a great year in Music with Edmunds Central students.
