The Roscoe Board of Trustees has made plans to build a new City Hall.
The building should be completed by the first of the year. Work should begin soon. The new City Hall, designed by HKG Architects of Aberdeen, will be built just north of the present City Hall where Sahli's Red Owl was.
There will be a 14 x 40 meeting room, a filing and storage area, an ADA compliant restroom and a 16 x 18 office area. Estimated cost is $426,000.00. .
Board of Trustees President Leland Treichel said another project in the works are new ADA compliant bathrooms and storage at the baseball complex. This should be completed by next spring in time for baseball/softball season.
The money for both projects are on hand and no additional taxes will be needed to fund either project, Treichel said.
