The high school football season begins Friday, August 23, 2024.
IPSWICH
The Ipswich Tigers open their 2024 schedule hosting Timber Lake at 7 p.m.
Brian Hogie will return as the Tiger’s head coach. He is assisted by Stewart Bohle, Matt Pollock and Caleb Schentzel.
The Tigers have five seniors on their roster: Max Kulesa, Rasmus Loken, Justin Rohrbach, Aiden Tindell and Bohdi Wilcox. Their roster lists 25 players.
The Tigers will play their second contest in Faulkton on Thursday, Aug. 29.
NORTH CENTRAL
The North Central Thunder team also begins their season at home on August 23 at 7 p.m. They host Lemmon/McIntosh in the Eureka Sports Complex.
The Thunder team is led by head coach Kevin Kunz. He is assisted by Dyllan Rohrbach and Nick Weismantel.
The young team only has one senior on their roster — Tim Rucker. The team roster lists 26 players.
