Diners gather behind the Hosmer City Liquor Store for the meal at the Meuwissen Benefit Saturday, Aug. 24.
Area residents came out on a hot Saturday afternoon to support a benefit for John Meuwissen of Hosmer. He had been injured in is a farm accident.
Auctioneer Nick Scarborough sold items in an auction and there was also a silent auction. There was also an auction for your sweet tooth - Ricky's Pink Ladies helped with a pie auction. Pork sandwiches were also served.
