The Marcus P. Beebe Memorial Library in Ipswich is open from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Friday the library is open from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. This month's Saturday hours will be from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on September 21.
This month's special event will be Pie and Bingo from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21. Entry is free and each winner will receive a pie!
We have had some lovely new books added to our collection - 10 new graphic novels from the Stranger Things series and eight new books on Sports Innovations. We have had 47 books donated to our young adult section and should be on the shelves in the near future. Titles include five Hank Zipzer books by Henry Winkler, three books on Star Wars collectibles and several additions to the Easy Reader section.
The Women's Coffee Klatch meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 10 until noon and the Bible Study on the first season of “The Chosen” will begin on Wednesday September 11 at 6:30 p.m. The Zion Lutheran Church has a Bible study at the library every Friday from 4 until 5:30 p.m.
