Riders on the Whitestone Hill Healing Ride headed north of Ipswich on Sunday, Sept. 1 on their way to the Whitestone Hill State Historical Site near Kulm, N.D.
They spent the night in Ipswich on Aug. 31.
The Ride commemorates the Sept. 3, 1863 battle when the U.S. Army attacked a Native American encampment at Whitestone Hill, killing nearly 400.
