Ipswich High School Homecoming Gala Week is September 9 through 13. The 2024 theme chosen by the Student Council is "Olympics."
Coronation is Monday, Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the School Theatre. Homecoming Royalty candidates are Reaghan Bowers, Kathryn Kilber, Rylee Kleffman, Jaydin Stiles, Nicholas Fuhrmann, Tucker Kadlec, Sawyer Kirkham and Maxwell Kulesa.
The Gala Day parade is Friday, Sept. 13 at 1 p.m. Anyone interested in having an entry in the parade should contact Mrs. Gohl at 605-426-6571 or email [email protected]. Contact her by Thursday, Sept. 12.
The Tigers volleyball team will host a home match on Sept. 10 vs. Sully Buttes. The football Friday, Sept. 13 pits the Tigers against Northwestern Wildcats. A middle school game starts at 5 p.m. followed by the varsity at 7 p.m.
The dress days for homecoming week are:
Monday - "Rest up for the Olympics" (Pajama Day)
Tuesday - Winter vs. Summer Olympics
Wednesday - Dress as your favorite Olympic athlete
Thursday - Team USA (red, white and blue day)
Friday - Team Tiger (Tiger Pride/ Spirit Day)
