IHS Cross Country ran in Pierre on Aug. 25.
Madisyn Gellhaus was sixth in the girls 4K varsity run, at 15:45.49.
Emery Larson of Pierre T.F. Riggs, was first at 14:43.37 followed by Ella Boekelheide, Northwestern, at 14:44.54.
Ipswich’s Gracyn Kadlec also ran in the varsity race.
Caleb Morris of Pierre T.F. Riggs won the boys 4K varsity race at 12:36.96. He was followed by four Aberdeen Central runners. Ipswich did not have varsity runners in the boys’ race.
IHS runner Jennay Gisi won the girls 3k middle school division at 13:48.40.
The Ipswich XC team will compete in Redfield on Thursday at 10 a.m.
