Ipswich Tigers host Northwestern in Homecoming football game

The Warner Monarchs held the Ipswich Tigers scoreless, 30-0, in the football game on Friday, Sept. 6 in Warner.

The Monarchs scored in each quarter.

First Quarter — Payton Volk 1 run (Alec Mikkelsen kick).

Second Quarter — Chays Mansfield 4 run (Mikkelsen kick).

Third Quarter — Jesiah Baum 1 run (Mikkelsen kick). Baum 43 run (Mikkelsen kick).

Fourth Quarter — Volk 1 run (Mikkelsen kick). Safety, Hunter Robinson and Preston Cavalier tackled ball carrier in end zone.

IHS QB Maxwell Kulesa was 7-12 in passing with 66 yards. The team had 71 yards passing.

The Tigers rushed for 89 yards. Kulesa was 11/37, Casey Geditz 6/36 and Kyle Hettich 4/16.

They had 71 yards on eight receptions. Rasmus Loken was 4/45.

IHS had five first downs.

Warner had 64 yards passing and 201 rushing yard. They had 132 first downs.

The Tigers will host Northwestern Friday for their homecoming football game.
