Tigers get for wins at NC Thunder volleyball tournament

Ipswich won four matches in the North Central Invitational Volleyball Tournament on Sept. 14 in Roscoe.

The Tigers stopped Timber Lake, Stanley County, McIntosh (2-0 each) and North Central 2-1.

IHS scored 25-18 against the Thunder. Then North Central battled to a 29-27 win. The Tigers took the third game 25-12.

The Ipswich volleyball team played Sunshine Bible Academy on Sept. 12 at SBA. The Tigers won 25-17, 25-17, 25-15.

The Tigers maintained a serving percentage of 90.4%.

The Tigers busy volleyball week began with a win at home versus Sully Buttes on Sept. 10 - 25-17, 25-20, 25-13.

Hitting: Ipswich 95-108 26 kills (Kaylin Onken 26-29 8 kills, Marley Guthmiller 31-37 7 kills, Natalie Crissman 9-9 4 kills).

Setting: Ipswich 95-96 26 assists (Reaghan Bowers 52-53 13 assists, Knutson 30-30 11 assists).

Ipswich was scheduled to host Warner on Tuesday. Later in the week they face another VB power - Northwestern, on Thursday, Sept. 19.

Saturday Ipswich will host a VB Tournament. Teams in the tourney include Aberdeen Christian, North Central, Herreid/Selby Area, Langford Area, Timber Lake, Lemmon and Milbank.
