Fall Festival will be held Next Month

A Fall Festival will be held in Ipswich the latter part of October, sponsored by the Ipswich Lions club. The plan is to make this a major activity feature of the club.

The 4-H clubs of the county will be asked to unite in the affair, exhibiting work done the past year.

The poultry show of the Bank of Ipswich will be held at the same time thus making an added attraction in the exhibition of the White Wyandotte chickens raised by the school children of the county.

A feature of the day will be a football game by the local high school eleven. It is planned to hold the festival on a day when the team has a home game. For the evening a program of stunts and a speaker will be the order.

The businessmen in Ipswich will unite in making the Fall Festival a real community affair. With the cooperation of the farmers in bringing in exhibits it is bound to go over big. Prizes will be offered.

The committee in charge of arrangements is J. M. Berry, Frank Archer and J. B. Taylor. We shall have more details in a later issue.
