CROSS COUNTRY
North Central and Ipswich athletes will be competing in the State B Cross Country meet in Rapid City October 26 at Hart Ranch Camping Resort.
The Class B girls run at 12 noon. They are followed by the A and AA girls. The Class B boys run at 1:30 p.m.
The North Central boys won Region 4B and will compete as a team.
Ipswich and North Central girls both placed third and will compete as teams as well.
FOOTBALL
The Ipswich Tigers football team ended the season with a 6-2 record. They were the seventh seed in 9A football. Ipswich will host Estelline/Hendricks, the 10th seed, on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.
The 9A football division has 16 teams in the playoffs. The Ipswich - Estelline/Hendricks winner will play the #2 Howard vs. #15 Timber Lake winner on Oct. 31.
