Ipswich Special Olympians compete at bowling tourney

Congratulations to the Ipswich Tiger Special Olympics bowling team for a job well done on Friday, October 11. They competed in Aberdeen at the Northeast Area Tournament.

The athletes that competed are Haley Wipf, 7th grade - 1st place; Max Simon, sophomore - 2nd place; Cash Henderson, sophomore - 1st place; Kyle Belle Isle, freshman - 2nd place; George Marshall, sophomore - 1st place; Coy Stager, sophomore - 6th place; Dixie Grace Marshall, 4th grade - 1st place; Carter Batista, 6th grade - 3rd place; Colden Marshall, 8th grade - 3rd grade and Isaiah Goetz, adult transition program - 4th place.

The team thanks the Knights of Columbus for their support and donations. The team was able to purchase new T-shirts plus orange and black tiger bowling balls and bags this year. The athletes couldn't have been happier using this new equipment!
