The Ipswich Tigers Volleyball team got a senior night 3-1 win over Aberdeen Christian on Oct. 22 in the Tiger Den.
IHS won the first set 25-21, then the Knights won the second 22-25. Then Ipswich won the next two sets, 25-15 and 25-22.
The Ipswich offense was led by Kaylin Onken with 14 kills and Marley Guthmiller with 13 kills. The team had 37 kills.
Brianna Geditz was 16 of 17 in serving with five aces. Guthmiller was 16 of 19, with four aces.
Setting leaders were Josie Knutson 78-79 with 21 assists and Reaghan Bowers 64-65 with 11 assists.
The Tigers had 77 digs - Geditz with 40 and Guthmiller 16.
Ipswich ended their regular season on Oct. 28 against Herreid/Selby Area. IHS got a 3-1 (25-23, 22-25, 25-21, 25-12) in Herreid. The Tiger record at the end of the regular season was 20-8.
