Ground breaking at the Edmunds County Law Enforcement Center and Jail.
The ground breaking for the Edmunds County Law Enforcement Center and Jail was held Tuesday, Nov. 19 next to the Edmunds County Courthouse.
County Commissioners, Sheriff's Department staff and county and Ipswich officials were present, as well as GA Johnson Construction staff. The Sioux Falls/Harrisburg firm are the managers for the $8,393,671,000 project.
The completion date is January 2026.
