The Ipswich Knights of Columbus distributed 20 new winter coats to Susie Treftz, Dept of Social Services and Child Protective Services. This includes Edmunds and McPherson counties. Sixteen new winter coats were also distributed to Leola.
Since starting the Coats for Kids program, the Knights of Columbus have distributed over 1,000,000 winter coats worldwide. This is the second consecutive participating year for the Ipswich council in this Coats for Kids program.
